Boyo focuses on developing perseverance and fostering a love for learning in disadvantaged communities in Taiwan. They aim to establish learning habits in the students by having them come to evening classes every night throughout the entire school year. They place focus on English and mathematics, subjects that typically cause students the most difficulty.
The Boyo Social Welfare Foundation and STEP partnership allows for STEP to have a perpetual physical presence in Taiwan. Boyo's incredible work in these communities helps STEP better understand the needs of the local schools. We work with Boyo in developing and discovering those valuable connections with the disadvantaged communities and students in those communities.
